dude,
a Home Depot faux finish ... like sponged red over tan with three coats of clear should look the shiznit. Of course, you should write Martha Stewart for sponsorship.
Seriously, what I think would look fabulous on the S is the Dodge metallic red we see o their latest cars. It is the perfect shade of red with deep metal flake. You don't want to waste the curves of the S and that Dodge metallic red would do a great job showing off the lines.
My S is beat too. Eventually I'll do the red thing.

Does wallpaper come with a speed rating? I think a nice floral print would hide your dents and scratches beautifully.
Flat black would not look good on a S2000 IMO, it always reminds me of primer. But its your car so go nuts!

They have flat black powder coat - expect to pay around $50-70 per wheel for strip and PC. I have had a couple sets of wheels done there.
One thing to consider about flat black on the car or the wheels - we live in a dusty environment, flat finishes will get dusty quicker and be more difficult to clean off.
I am thinking of bringing my AP2 wheels back to Gorilla and having them done in 40% gloss black (similar to the CE28N Time Attacks). I do like the time attacks but do not feel like spending $2400 for new wheels.
