PA S2K Owner In Need of Help
Ok so I have been out to Phoenix several times and this past week I have recieved a job offer to come work out there for the Dept. of Corrections. Anyone have any suggestions on where to get a cheap place to live but in a decent neighborhood? Travel time to work doesnt really matter to me. I'd just like to be close to the thick of things and find some friends and be close enough to everyone to hang out. I have noone out there and would need to start my life all over, but to me its worth it to live in/near Phoenix. Any help you guys can give is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What city exactly is your work?
There are some pretty nice apartments on Indian School and Dysart (West Valley) that my friends live at. They had some special going on for $650 a month for a 1 bedroom, it has washer dryer built in, I was actually surprised at hw nice they were. I think it was built in 2005.

You can find a house down in Gilbert for as cheap as an apartment. Same goes for Maricopa, Avondale, Goodyear etc etc.
