Default Oregon member needing a little recon help

Last week, my wife ordered some diet stuff from a company called Scottsdale Nutrition supply. Looks like the website is bogus. The phone number provided does not work. Here is the site: http://www.snsupply.com/ If anyone knows of this company and has any contact information or address (that works) let me know. She had the charges reversed but I want to do a little digging.

Its probably just a business someone runs out of their home office.

If you can't reach them by phone, they probably only communicate through emails (if at all).

BBB is 100% worthless, both for a business, and for consumers.

Lies!

We had a problem with Tempe Honda when we bought our Ridgeline, multiple calls and what not later nothing was resolved. Reported a claim to the BBB and the issue was resolved......in our favor, in less than a week.

The only time it might be "worthless" is when the business isn't a member of the BBB, which is like buying something on ebay from someone with a shit ton of negative feedback.....you are just asking for trouble.

37 complaints regarding delivery issues in the last 36 mths and 42 unresolved compaints. I think you may wanna chalk this one up as a lesson learned...

Best of luck to you though

Well maybe you might have better luck with the BBB and an actual physical store - not an online place.

I worked for a previous business that had a few "complaints" on file with the BBB, and although it showed 90% of them were resolved, 5% the customer didn't respond to any mediation, and 5% the customer wasn't happy no matter what and it was "out of the BBB's resolution ability".

Anyways...we would get calls from reps from the AZ BBB (we verified the calls were actually from the BBB and not some scam attempt) - where they were trying to recruit businesses to be a BBB member.

If we signed up and enrolled in their membership program and paid the yearly dues - they would erase our complaints on file - and as a member, contact us before any issues were posted so they would show as resolved or not post at all.

Obviously.....EVERY business exists to make money - but if a business can just pay a yearly fee to have a clean record - then putting your trust in the BBB as a consumer is just silly.

Aside of the above rant....

The SNsupply website has a private domain registration through GoDaddy, so you can't track down the personal info of the owner.

Also, on RipOff Report:
I ordered some nutritional supplements from this company on 11-24-08, but never received them. The company has not responded to any email messages and the 800 phone number given was bogus.

Buyer beware - Only interact with companies that except Paypal so you can have some recourse against fraudulent online retailers like these hellbound immoral thieves.

But..........

The website lists a local number as "623.215.7935"

I found:
