Hmmm I do it myself. I can't remember the last time I took my S2000 to a carwash and they did a good job.

Hard to find someone that does a good job for a reasonable price. But if you cough up the coin, anywhere in Scottsdale would do just fine.

The satisfaction in doing it yourself is SO much more rewarding! You have to look at the S2000 not as just a car to take you from point A to point B. You can buy any cheap American made P.O.S. for that.
No...the S2000 was designed for the true car enthusiast! And for that reason, no one should ever let a place like Danny's or any run-of-the-mill joint to wash your car, it would be an embarrassment. A car like the S should always be washed by hand, never a machine!!!
Take at least an hour out of your day to wash and look at the car. Spend some quality time with it. It's therapeutic to wash a car you enjoy driving. See how many jealous Phoenicians have smashed your passenger side door with their rage because they only wish they had such a fine piece of machinery!!!
Enough with my poetic mind....I hope I can speak for most of us, when I say we wash our car ourselves!!! This is a hobby for us, We are Men and washing our pride and joy is a great feeling!
As for the ones that don't wash it yourself...you should be ashamed of yourself.
Trust no machine to wash your car, it leaves bad marks and most people who dry it suck at it. It's not their car so why would they care!

But this is all my opinion..What The Hell Do I Know!!!!

It's a freaking car, get over it. Sheesh, some people would rather not spend the hour detailing it.

I jacked my car up two weeks ago and used my new Griot's metal polish. My exhaust looked better than the day I pulled it out of the box!

I love detailing my car!
