Default New wheels need opinion

I recently had my wheels powder coated and had to have the caps done before I put them on.

Now that i have them on, I notice that under shade/overcast or just about any non-bright area there seems to be a "blueish/greenish" tinge. Almost like the metal is coming through. And even in the brightest light its almost like a very slight tinge of metal is coming through.

I paid to have the color matched and they special ordered the paint. So not only does the wheel not totally match which im not quite as concerned about but I would like other opinions if I have a legitmate argument to have the wheels redone again?

Here is a pic

Thanks

The color will never match perfectly due to the differences in materials. If you look at your hood and then your front bumper the color will be off slighly. It is like that on all S2ks.

The wheel emblem looks great.

It looks great. It is almost impossible to perfect match when powder coating.
I think they did a pretty good job. Maybe it looks different in person?

I will post some pictures later tonight.

Here is what I found out after talking to the guy that did the work.
The process was like this:

1) They Powdercoated the Primer
2) Sprayed the Paint since I had them order the color code
3) Powder Coated the clear coat.

I went back and he said the "gray" tinge is the reflections that other whites would probably have. And if he did it over, it would be the same because they put multiple coats and it was the color from the Manufacturer.

I'll have some more pictures up by tonight.

Thanks for the replies,

I think it must be something with reflection. Looking at the shot below it looks fine and unfortunately all the photos i took yesterday with that disposable camera do not show what I'm complaining about. Other than the first picture.

Basically I could see like a blue/grayish hue with overcast and i guess thats not the case with this photo.
