Best tires I've tried have to be the Hankook Ventus RS-2's. Very sticky, and not that expensive.
I absolutely LOVE the Falken RT615's that are on my M, but they are really loud on the freeway and don't get much treadwear out of them....
Whatever tire you go with, I would order them from TireRack.com and ship them to your installer of choice (for me, that would NOT be discount tire). Ends up being cheaper IMHO.

Kumho SPT's are comfy, quiet, and not too expensive. The downside is that they have soft sidewalls and aren't the stickiest tire around.
If performance is a priority, then take a look at the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs. They're not too pricey and people are ditching the Falken RT615 for the Star Specs.
Tirerack.com has stock sizes for AP2's but is not showing them for AP1's. However, I've got a magazine with a tirerack ad and it has the AP1 sizes listed

As 4WHLBKE said, I have the Hankook Ventus RS2's and they are amazing. Being a competitor for the azenis RT-615s, they are very sticky and only $111 a tire last I ordered them. A bit longer treadwear than the RT-615s, and nice aggresive blocks for that turn-in that the s2000 loves oh so much.
I have had 4 pairs now, and plan to continue using them, until I get my Nitto NT-01s.
