Default Need Fuel Rail parts!

Anyone here have any fuel rail parts laying around?

I had a couple leaky injectors and took the fuel rail off last night and there seems to be something wrong with the (3) bolts or nuts that hold the fuel rail on. I'm guessing the nuts or the bolt is stripped out because i can turn it, but it doesnt tighten or loosen.

So....i was going to go get some replacement bolts becuase i figured I'd need to drill those out. If I could just cut the nut off, I might be able to save the bolt but im not sure I can do that.

Anyone have anything like that laying around? LMK what you got. Both chapman and dobbs dont have the bolts in stock!
Might have to order from majestic...

Was going to get some O-rings as well - those damn things are $5-6 EACH here in town??

Might be riding with someone for the gates pass run

haha yea... starting that up with the high idle in the garage was nuts....

its prolly not that bad, im just not used to having an exhaust

If i can just get some O-rings and nuts (which dont look to be anything special, just have a flange) I might be up and running if i can figure out how to get the nut off without hurting the bolt.

Nate - you have different injectors dont you? have anything laying around?

Nate - I have the 3 bolts in a box in my garage. If you want them, I will cut you a nice deal. I got replacement o-rings from chapman for a buck or 2.

You don't have to cut the bolts to get them out of the head.

1. Remove the 2 small silver bolts holding the fuel rail brackets to the intake manifold.
2. If the nut on top of the 3 bolts is stripped, you should be able to sneak a 14mm wrench in there and loosen the bottom of the bolt (which has a nut shape at the bottom). That should let you pull the rail off with the bolts still attached to it and not the head.

Yea, those are stipped and i did what you said last night.

I took it into work
You have those 3 green bolts? The nuts are stuck on there, i was going to try to do something to get them off without damaging the bolt, however im not sure which threads are messed up, the nuts, the bolts, or both?

No one in town has the green bolts (have the rings and nuts because they are universal to some other honda's).

Precision has the rings for 1.50 or so....so i can get those there. Chapman was 6, dobbs was 5!

If you have those bolts, I might want em! they were like 7.60 something on majestic, and crazier prices at the dealerships here. I'm going to see what i can do about getting it off there.

It was a terrible drive up there wednesday...any chance you are running into town anytime tonight or tomorrow?
