Red face My S2000 is SOLD

Well guys, its been nice knowing you. Specifically Mervin, Kurt, and Ryan...I knew you guys the best, but I met almost all of you guys at one point or another. It was sad to see my S2k go, but it is in good hands. Nate4635 here on the boards bought it from me. It'll be sad leaving the S2k community as well, because it really is a very helpful and fun group of people. Luckily I've notice a similar community in the car the I stepped into. However, if Honda ever makes an AP3 or the like, you better believe that I'll be checking it out. The S2000 was the most fun car I have owned as of yet. My MCS is also a very fun car as well and I'm happy to say I get a lot of enjoyment out of it as well. Anyway, here a pics of my new ride...and there are NO plans for any "real" mods...not this time.

I'll also still be lurking the boards from time to time, I don't think I can ever actually leave this place

Ivan, I should have added you to that list of people. I mean, our S2k's got tinted together!! And we got you out to the track too

As for coming out to meets, I'm living in CA now but at least I get that ocean in the background Who knows though, I may decide to show up to a track event at PIR sometime.

I know I don't live in PHX anymore, but I highly doubt you'd be unwelcome at the meets (same as Mervin before you)

Congrats on the new ride! What year is your MCS? We have a 05 Pepper White MCS in the household too! Awesome car. In fact, I brought back an S2000 trunk lid from Cali and even delivered my GINORMOUS J's Wing (box and all) to its new owner in Blythe using the Mini! Haven't participated in too many Mini forums but have found quite a number of "fixes/things to watch for" over at North American Motoring forums. Keep in touch Eric!

Congrats on the great buy - We love our 05 MCS. I would highly recommend 2 mods that are relatively inexpensive and make a huge difference. A smaller supercharger pulley (we have the Alta 17%) and a pair of lowering springs (as if the car needs to handle any better).

Good car.

Question: do more guys or girls drive the mini? Just wondering because I think more guys drive the mini than girls which is something I definitely didn't expect.

I would definitely rock a mini if I had the money.
There is one in the neighborhood that has got to have the coolest stance ever. Grey with black and carbon accents, black wheels, little wing on the back...looks like you can pick it up and rev it

Wow I didn't realize a bunch of you guys had them! Thats cool. Mine is an 05' as well. I actually just drove it out to Prescott last week to pick up my 2.5L, I fit an S2000 bottom end (the 2.5), a koyo radiator, my toolbox (25" Craftsman...almost as big as the motor hehe), 4 jack stands, clothes/sleeping bag/pillow for the 3 days, and other random stuff. Keeping in mind that I had boxes for the stuff and towels so I wouldn't ruin my new interior, and all that stuff fit perfectly and I still had the whole front seat! and I could still see out the rear view as though nothing was there Its awesome how much room this little car has.

As for NAM, I've been there, my name is AeroCooper over there.

Skibum- I am trying to not go mod crazy on this car...but errg, I hate having that stupid bug. I only have the M7 FSTB (for anti-shrooming) and the DICE iPod kit right now. I do plan to get a Hotchkis 19mm rear sway bar and front camber plates to dial in -2 degrees up front. Springs though...I don't know if I'll do them, I really like the rates where they are at now. And a pulley, it'll have to be Dinan if I get one anytime soon. I've got a warranty till 65k miles or 2012 and the car only has 18k on it right now, so I don't want to void that.

Manuelisfun - I have no idea about the guy/girl ratio with the Mini...but being a pilot I can tell you that its 95% guys, I don't mind girly stuff (very comfortable sexualy)

Ivan - the one you are mentioning sounds like a JCW for sure...maybe even a GP does it have red mirrors and big 18" wheels?
