MT. Lemmon drive- Tucson.
This was a topic at one of the meets, and I wanted to see if there are any people interested in this drive? I personally have not done it, but I've heard that it was an awesome drive up with lots of opportunity to take pics, so let me know if this is something you guys might like to do. Thanks guys.

Good drive but lots of speed traps, going up and down a mountain road that's 4 lanes wide at 45mph isn't my cup of tea though
I don't know what your time frame is but I think they got a lot of snow up there.

Im down... ive gone up twice since the new year and no speed traps plus u cant really speed with the traffic. Snow is not an issue roads are cleaned sibce there are residents up there.

If it snows, it will be tough, as they will close the road or restrict access.
Also, from what I remember, when it snows up there and the roads are open, its packed on the weekends. Last year we drove up and near the top (ski valley) there were cars parked along side the road for nearly a mile.

I went up at midnight with a small Honda group a while ago and it was a blast. No traffic on the way up or on the way down. Saw some sport bikes racing in the opposite direction though.

I am interested. What dates and time are you looking at? I'm in Phoenix, so it's about 2 hours to get to the base of Mr. Lemmon. You might want to pick a warmer month so we can go topless.
