Monthly Arizona Meet
Hey guys, I figured it would be better to post here than to litter up the West Side thread with talk about this.
It seemed like several people thought a get together like this might work, so I figured I'd make a post and we'll see what happens. There is nothing that I love more than when we can get a large group of S2000's together and bullshit for a while.
Adam also mentioned putting together a calendar which sounds like a fantastic idea, perhaps we can incorporate this in there as well.
I guess I'll start with a question, what would be best a weekend or a weekday? I was thinking weekend but whatever would work for getting the most cars out would be ideal. If we do weekends what day, Saturday or Sunday? Do we want it on "the last Saturday of every month" or a rotating day? I think it would be easiest if it was consistent like say the second Sunday of every month or something along those lines but that's just me.
Where could we do it? With summer coming we might have a month of two of good BBQ weather before it gets hot. If we could find a nice central location where we could get decent parking and some BBQ's that sounds awesome. There is also that rest stop before Tortilla Flats up on HWY 88 that would work, but that is way way east for some people.

Sunday's work for me. I agree with setting a date such as second sunday of every month. If we can standardize some meets, it should help with planning and turnout. Keep in mind, if we alter locations, it would be cool if one month we all meet out at Canyon Lake, and maybe another month, we all meet somewhere more on the west side. If we switch it up month to month, it will work. One month the east siders can have a nice group drive, and the next month the west siders have the drive.
