Remember, no meet this Monday 12/1.
The following Monday (12/8) will be the Final Monday Meet. I will be on hiatus for a while, indefinitely. Lets make it a good one.

Probably because Da Godfather is the one to normally organize the Monday meets and he's going to be out of town today I believe. As he said, he's taking a hiatus from weekly meets; I'm sure they could continue in the future if someone takes over the reigns.

The interest/passion for this meet is gone from the community. We really did have a great run and many long lasting friendships have been made because of the Monday Meet. Dare I say, maybe even a love connection was brought to you by the Monday Meet? If you look in the earlier pages of this thread, you can feel/see the excitement in peoples posts. I completely forgot that we used to do biweekly, but the group asked to make it weekly, lol.
Like I've said before, the community has the ultimate control over this and the community has spoken by their actions. I held on for as long as I could, however, I just can't do it anymore. I want to thank everyone that has contributed to the last 6+ years of the Monday Meet. Without you guys, none of this would have been possible. I wish that I could thank everyone individually, but there is no way that is possible, lol.
I don't want to leave this on a sad note, so lets go out with a bang! I'm heading out of town this eve, but next week will be the official Final Monday Meet. Throw out suggestions on where to go. I was thinking Dunkin as some of our biggest turnouts have been there and the parking lot is big. It might be cold though, so let me know what you guys think.
