This old man is usually sleeping at 4:00 am, so go for it, young man!

(Anyone younger than 55 is young to me. Anyone over is older than dirt. I must be dirty.)

Sorry, had to get some stuff sorted at my gym, so no way would I make it in time by the time I was finished. We have training seminars at work this week and the next, so during the week is kind of crappy right now.

I know that you have made it up here several times. I think that is commendable. I was trying to imply that if there were no other traffic or LE on the road, maintaining an average of 125mph would be nice between Tucson and Phoenix.
What happens at 4am, stays at 4am. I know I can make it in less than an hour.
I've "heard" that even at 4am I, er, someone, can still get pulled over for criminal speeding while rushing to the airport. So, be careful.

That stretch of road was outdated when it was built. Should be 4-5 lanes in each direction.
Watchout for officer friendly around Eloy. Dude likes to hide behind overpasses where radar is invisible to your detector.

Yes, I agree, the road is outdated, and probably not safe for speeds like that. It was just a thought. Would it be nice if ADOT could put in well maintained lanes like Germany did with their Autobahn system? I'd like to see that implemented nationwide here in the USA.

Oh yea. Major freeways like the 10 should be the first to implement a minimum speed lane... like 90 mph with no maximum. Mark, get Obama on the phone and lets do it.

We could start a ground-swell for jobs building new lanes countrywide. Who will sign my petition?
