Monday Night Meet!

^^ Yup.
Adam, If it makes you feel any better, I weigh 175 and my best lap last night was 54.203 I've done quite a bit of karting in the past few years at all 3 locations and have seen plenty of 200+ guys TEARING IT UP!
I honestly believe that the kart you get is the most important factor (other than traffic). You can't deny that you have more "downforce"
BTW... I can't seem to come up with any new trophies that look decent Should I just modify the existing ones?

I agree about the kart! I have raced go karts for most of my life, and used to compete in some indoor karting championships back in PA. From all my years of experience, the lighter you are, the faster you are (of course you still have to be talented, not trying to discount anybody on that!!!) Combine skill, and a lighter weight, and your set! There is a reason why most race car drivers are the size of a jockey
I watched the fast guys last night and they were all driving very good lines, and very smoothly.
I can tear it up, but all out lap times will suffer...not making excuses, its just a fact. I loved watching the guy in the orange shirt absolutely destroy all of us last night Man he was fast!!!
Anyways...it was a blast racing with a bunch of good drivers. I usually go there with a friend from out of town and destroy them, so it was a great change of pace to have some really intense battles. My second race Alex and I passed each other for 8 of the 10 laps. Every lap he motored by me on the straights, then I passed him in the corners....man it was awesome!

I know my cornering and entry speeds are faster....just losing out on top speed! I watched the "little guys" pull me hard once we accelerated out onto the straights...I came out with a decent lead, then waved as they shot past me

If it slows you in the straights then sure!
I am going to bring my used oil in a spray bottle and spray peoples tires when i pass them....or when they pass me!
