So Finishing Touch wants to charge me another $800 to paint the rest of my front bumper and blend into the other fender. I guess they finished the damaged fender and repaired the corner of the bumper but want me to pay out of pocket for the rest.

I just assumed that they would respray the entire front bumper for color matching purposes. Guess I was wrong, I'm going to go and check it out today. I think it's going to look a little stupid with a half clean painted/half chipped front bumper. Honestly though, after spending $3500 on the new drivetrain another $800 is just going to set me back that much more.

I wish that stupid lady never would have hit me. I was actually pretty fine with the way the car was before, even with all of the rock chips. I drive the car a lot and chips in the bumper are to be expected, I just think it's going to look even worse if I don't pay to have them re-finish the whole thing.

That should be covered through insurance. Call your agent. They might need to negotiate more money from the womens insurance company.

I feel your pain on the car thing. My car had rock chips, and my passenger fender didnt match the rest of the car, but it was ok....then once the stealership scratched my hood it took 2 months to get them to finally re-spray the whole front end, and do it right. Althought the more I clean it, the more little imperfections I keep finding. It is still not perfect. It sucks.

Fight insurance to pay...if that really wont lead you anywhere, then you might just have to pay them to finish the job.

Yeah, nothing major. Double right hand turning lane, I was on the outside and she was on the inside. She came into my lane took out my fender and corner of my bumper.

Im down for DD. Ill either be there with dillon or on the bike.
Sidenote- I have my down pipe and dump tube welded up. So everything is good to go for very low boost tune until I decide to order a clutch. I just need to put my door back together and its good to go!
