Can't come out tonight, my pass. side wheel bearing is shot and my rear brakes are nearly gone. It is going into the shop on Wednesday for a new hub\bearing\rear brake pads and I am having them swap my half shafts while they are at it.
I'm pretty excited to get it back, it is going to feel like a brand new car compared to the way it feels with a bad wheel bearing and pitted CVs! Also very relieved that it wasn't my diff making all that noise.
I think I am going to pick up some of the highly praised Redline CV grease to drop off with the car. Is there anything else you guys think I should get? new axle nuts? Is there a special grease to use on the axle splines to rid the clicks or will a bit of the CV grease do?
