Default Modified Mag & Dezod Desert Shootout

hi guys --

We spend the past two weekends at Firebird competing in the Modified Magazine Tuner Shootout and Dezod Desert Shootout. We were really pleased with the results, but were hoping to see more S2000's out there!

Here are some photos of the event. There's a link for more photos enclosed.

Just out of curiosity has SOS ever hosted an event at their facilities? It seems to me since you guys are the choice for S2000 enthusiasts and regarded as the best S2000 specific tuner shop in the state that would be a logical step for SOS. I haven't read of any meets or events so if I missed it I apologize. But if I have missed it why isn't it done more often? If you are disappointed in the s2000 turnout maybe because someone needs to lead the charge? It's just a win-win situation as I see it, for SOS. Sure it requires some planning but it also provides you an avenue for a bigger customer base.

hi Dan --

Good suggestion. We hosted an event previously at our old shop.

We'd like to host another, however, it will probably be several months off when things cool down (it's 100+ here now).

Cheers,

I had the Suzuka s2k at the track. I work with DezodWest and was busy running the event though I did hit the track once. I had just bought the car a day prior to the event and had NO idea how to drive it and had no feel for it... at least I beat my brothers 350Z in times

anyways, Im glad you had fun!

Here are some more pictures
