I have only one thing to say, maybe two.

Go to Discount and buy a set of Falken RT-615's. They grip like mad (for street use, light track use) and are cheap enough to replace if damaged. Get the Road Hazard coverage if you want the added piece of mind, it's just like all insurance-it's a waste of $$$ until you need it.

I can't say enough good things about these tires. I run them on the front of the Nissan and the Dodge. I'd run them all around if they made them wide enough.

And what's with all these guys getting 20K out of tires on their S?!?!?! Ivan you dissapoint me! haha I ran RE070's (OEM STi tires) on my S and couldn't get near that mileage....I did have a hell of a lot of fun though.

The car has been driven approx 22,000 over the past three years. I am very unlucky when it comes to nails.

That sucks bro... sorry to hear that.

Yeah I just ordered two 245/40/17 bridgestone potenza re-01r from tire rack
for 357 shipped. I do have the luxury of installing the tires myself though.

Yet I was really impressed with their shipping only took 2 days for normal
ground.

Falken Azenis here. For $96 a tire you cant go wrong, but then again i pay cost.

Yeah i would of tried plugging it or actually dismounting the tire and patching it from the inside (like a bicycle tire). I know Discount wouldnt of done it but any little mom and pop tire shop would of. You would of at least got a few more miles out of them.
