Your not alone, I have had similar issues. After the 2nd time I finally splurged and got the super duper insurance from discount and of course I haven't had a problem since.

I should prolly pick up a new set of rears soon too.

What do you guys think of the RA050A pole positions? I hear good things.

I feel bad for you my friend

I drive mine every day...something to look forward to before and after work.

My stock tires have lasted 25k so far and I still don't see the wear indicator.

Do you drive it down the driveway and back? WTF. After 12,000 my rears wouldn't grip anything anymore. I brought the rear end around in my neighbor's lawn irrigation runoff.

LOL!! I'm extremely impressed with the stock tires. I drive like mad too, all the time. This is after 2 NASA track days and at least 6 AutoX events.

I don't drift or do donuts or peel out btw.

So I think I'm going to try out the Pole Positions next...

I believe you are running the OEM S02's. I was getting about 10-12K out of them also. When I put the AP2 wheels and tires (RE050) on the car I got almost 20k out of the rears.

The pole positions do not come in 215/45R17 for the fronts - I am very nervous about mis-matching the front and rears on this car.

I prefer the RE050 over the stock S02s. The car feels more stable and less tail happy with the REs.

I was driving around with 6lbs of pressure in the LR tire part of yesterday and the car felt REALLY swirly.
