Default JS2K 6k HID bulbs

Anybody ever tried these bulbs? Or anything else from this guy? Just curious, I ordered them last week & wanted to know if they worked well, or if I flushed a $20 down the crapper. .

I have his keyhole covers and taller windscreen. I like his stuff and have thought about buying these bulbs as well just haven't gotten around to it.

His keyhole covers are hit and miss. One of mine chipped a quarter of the paint off right as I was pushing it in.

I guess they are cheap enough that you can just use them as replaceable items, but I would expect them to be slightly more durable than what they are.

I'm going to order another 2 or three sets so that I have spares. I've never been able to remove one without chipping it.

Yeah I have his bulbs. They are damn good for $20.00
They have lasted over a year in my car and the color is just right imo.

I have the 6K bulbs installed right now. One of my bulbs had weird flickering at start-up, and he sent a new set out and didn't want the others back.

I also have the tall etched windscreen, it's pretty good quality since it was laser cut. The only complaint I have on that one is the edges aren't sanded/rounded like the OEM windscreen. That reminds me I need to look for some sort of rubber wedge to keep the windscreen steady against the roll hoops. It seems the additional height is causing additional vibration at speed with the top down (and can chatter against my GoPro).

Buy with confidence, great seller.

I wouldn't worry about it. The seller is a nice guy and if you have problems he stands behind his stuff. Good customer service!

What about the oil drain bolt? LED tail light conversion? I like the idea of the oil drain bolt, but not if it "spy hunters" the road & cooks my block. . Anything to allow me to be lazier, cool w/ me.

The drain bolt is the Fumoto valve. I've used that on previous cars without any issues, but since I track my S I'd rather not use one, besides crush washers are a lot cheaper than the chance of running dry.
If you go that route though, make sure you get the right number of spacer washers so the valve assembly doesn't protrude below the bottom of the pan.

Are you stock height, and what intake do you have? My last oil change I did without lifting the car at all!

Skunk 2 springs, about 1 1/2" drop. No intake, just a K&N filter & no airbox lid. .
