I attended a track day at Inde Motorsports Ranch on Friday. It was my first track day in about 3 years. Even if you don't normally do track days I would highly recommend running this track if you get a chance. The elevation changes and blind corners are a welcome addition to a track here in Arizona.

I was on stock pads and left the car in 3rd gear for the entire lap with the exception of the long straight. In a time attack situation you would need to be down in 2nd quite a bit. The track is forgiving if you go off, but I would not recommend pushing hard as you pass the pit entrance and approach the finish line. There is a concrete wall there and it would not be fun to hit.

No official group. It was arranged by a co-worker of mine who has some connections out there. It was advertised on AZAWD and AZHT at the last minute. I think we had about 22 cars total. I had 5 20 minute sessions in by 2:30 and bailed because I was tired. I am pretty sure Pro Auto Sports is going out there sometime in 2011. The price should be in line with most other tracks in AZ.

I checked the schedule, Pro Auto Sports is running there the last weekend in May and first weekend in September.

Nasa is also running at Inde in May as well. we were supposed to in august but it looks like it got canceled
