Help! Car Shaking Issues...
Hey guys, I'm having some issues with the vibrating of the car at certain speeds. I initially thought that the wheels were not balanced correctly but recently I got new tires and wheels and had them balanced and now the problem has gotten worse.
It vibrates the car between 37-39mph which doesn't bother me much but anything over 70mph is horrendous. It almost feels like the car is shaking as a whole rather than one point creating a vibration... any suggestions on what could be wrong? Thanks.
***UPDATE 02/21***
The alignment is complete and everything is now within spec (thanks Wade! ) but the vibration has not gone away. I'm hoping that there isn't something seriously wrong, but I guess I have expect the worse. Could it be the axle? Transmission/motor mount? Hub? Rotors..??
...got another problem.
When I installed my new wheels (w/ the stock suspension), I noticed that the steering wheel angle was thrown off. I figured I somehow threw off the alignment when I changed out the wheels. After the alignment though, it seems that the steering wheel angle is still off. I also noticed that the new tires howl like something is not rolling straight either. Could this be a tire issue or could something be really off on the car itself?
***UPDATE 02/21 - 2***
Just got back from changing out the front tires to the old ones to see if it was the tires... steering angle is still whack, and the howling sound is coming from the 225/45 tires rubbing against the fender liner - even before it was lowered it was making the sound. Needs higher offset wheels in the front w/ 225/45.

Ok more questions.
Does the vibration stay when coasting at 40 + mph while in and out of gear?
You have tried a completely different set of wheels right?
You might have to attend a meet soon for a few others to help diagnose in person.
My bet is the rear end if you answer yes to those questions.

The suspension has not been altered. Yes, it vibrates regardless of whether I'm in gear or not. No, 3 different wheels except the driver side rear, all different tires.
Lugs are tight.
Interesting take on that as my buddy had an issue where the car had a close diagnosis to mine and was cured via alignment. I need through fenders rolled and coilovers installed before the alignment though...
