Thumbs up Half Shaft Spacers

So I have a general question to see if anyone here has Half Shaft Spacers on their S?

This is taken from the T1R Shaft Spacers.(street)

"When lowering a S2000 , its drive shaft angle will definitely need re-adjustments due to the modifications applied, in this case, the lowering of the suspension. This is due to the fact that lowering a S2000 creates unwanted space in between the drive shaft roller and spider (inside of the drive shaft), causing the inboard joint to unevenly wear out."

I know there's a lot of you that are lowered, so I don't know if i should spend the money or pass this up.

Thanks

Weird!! Why would you not need them between an AP1 and AP2. The rear differential, axles and out put shafts are all the same in all the years. So why would an AP2 be different formt he AP1??

I personally have them on my car 10mm spacers. I have the half spacers which takes about 15 minutes to put in compared to the full spacer which is not split in half takes a an hour or so.

What the spacers do is place the axle yolk in a central loaction in side the axle cup. When you lower a car the axle yolk slides out towads the outside and rides in a different grove, which some people feel in a vibration. What the spacer does is puts the axle back in the correct location, like it was from the factory. Depending on how low you are you would need anywhere from a 7mm spacer to a 10mm spacer. I recommend them and have used them for awhile now. Just my .02

Yeah I also read somewhere that this not an issue on AP2's but I am sure all cars would benefit depending on amount of lowering.
