Got brake dust

Looking back at your picture, looks like you ate your rotors pretty good. I heard it was a heavy braking track.
If you waxed the wheels, used full on simple green, and cleaned a few hours after the track day, I doubt sonax will help. Might have to clay bar them!
After one track day with my Enkei's, I realized I did not want to track on my nice wheels again. In the future, I will have a set of wheels that I just dont give a **** about! I can't see myself spending money on really nice wheels, then ruining them at the track. Maybe you should look into some 949's or TSW's or some other high offset wheel that fits easily under stock fenders and cost under 1g.

I completely agree. Chain of events brought this on.
I'll try clay bar and see what happens.
Maybe XR3 are better for fronts.
Track peeps said Carbotech XR-whatever do not dust as much but their wheels looked just as bad.

Firebird Night Event
6 HPDE sessions + Time Attack:
"Cool did you get flat black wheels...oh wait"
After i-Spec lovin' (and maybe a whole lot of Simple Green):
"ZOMGBBQSTFU did you buy new wheels?"

Your front rotors were glowing going into the tower turn so I can only imagine how hot they were at the end of the strip!
That Audi S5 in your group seemed like it was all stock and it's pads were straight up sparking on the inside of his wheel.
Metal on metal = molten metal on your rimz y0!

So how was the event for you? Car running really well?

Overall it went really well. Even in torture sessions and 110 degree weather.
I am very cautious and picky about small issues.
Maybe some of that was because the sudden change of priorities when I found junk in my engine.
That cascaded into a rush that wrapped up at 3am the night before the track day and did not allow me to break in an inspect anything I did.
That is definitely not i-Spec!
Even as I went to bed, I kept adding to the checklist of potential problems to look for as I had not even started the car. There was high risk of failure after the valve adjustment, oil pan drop, new pcv setup, new brake lines, new brake fluid, etc. Luckily everything held together.
I still have a little oil coming out the catch can. Probably going to put steel wool in there to see if that stops it completely. Not sure where to get steel wool.
The second issue was heat. I need to install my KPro monitor to watch the exact temp numbers but it climbed up to two bars above normal on the stock temp gauge. It held there but I had the heater open just in case. Definitely need to drop in the Koyo asap.
But yes, the power was right on, the tires were amazing, and just good times all around
I do need to mess with the suspension settings now to fine tune further.
