Default Good bodyshop

What's a good bodyshop around here? Preferably in Scottsdale so I can drop it off while I'm at work. I've got a scuff I need buffed out, some rock dings I need touched up and my rear bumper re-aligned.

Thanks, Ming

Most People take their S's to Elite in Tempe. They have worked on about 6 of our cars so far. They do good work. Ask for Brent or Schad.

Are they expensive or an average price?

Not too bad. Are you using your insurance?

No, I'm not using insurance, it's really just some touch up work from little things due to normal freeway hazards.

I just had my entire front end redone at Raintree Auto Body. Back on Aug 2nd some 16 year old, traveling the opposite direction, decided to turn left directly in front of me. (side note: luckily there were no serious injuries. My friend got a light concussion and both of us are still in physical therapy for strained muscles in our back. After the kid lied to his insurance company they did a full investigation. Two weeks ago they finally took full liability for the accident. I hadn't posted because i wanted to make sure this all got worked out first).

I just picked up my car yesterday. Total repair bill, $25,000. As for the paint work, I would not recommend them. I will be taking my car back after I compile a complete list of things that need to be fixed. For the mean time, I have a new hood that is covered in swirl marks and it looks like some debris got on the bumper before they painted it.

GNALUZU,

Glad you are ok. That's like 1/2 the car got trashed... (of course, in reality it is probably like 5% since car manufacturers charge a lot for their parts). At least you got a BJ before the accident right? Assume that's how you sprained 'the muscle?' Did she hit the steering wheel? That's how Steve Martin crashed in parenthood...

-------------

Thawyze1,

Elite did great work on my Lexus, no issues - and that vehicle cost more than my S2000. I will take my S2000 in there when I decide to touch up the front end.

Think they did excellent job..........look at my Suzuka Blue in the pics from the rides....I have side strates or whatever. Plus customer service is great...
Don't go to Raintree.....I used them once for my van..customer service sucks and their time lines are way off. Didn't like Raintree at all. Ric's has done several of my vehicles ...Blaser x 2 ( 16 y/o), van , and S2000.....They work on all the nice cars from the hood and do a great job.
