Jin, that is the same turbo that I had right??? I will take a look at my dyno charts, and see when boost hit on mine. I do remember having lots more room to play with then just 1000 rpm's. I think I had my redline pushed back to 8.5, and peak boost kicked in at 4k, which is when vtec would kick in

Nope, definitely not just you. I was discussing this with Chris and I'll probably get a 30R which would be much more appropriately sized for my application. The boost does take a while, but when it hits 5k it's crazy, very 911-like.
Any specific reason you're going with Garrett and not Borg Warner?

Yeah it's the same one. I remember Chris saying UMS was dealing with some boost creep issues with my car. VTEC window was lowered to 4k - 5k
