My suggestion for the drives was to allow people to choose how long a drive they wanted. Have 3 different lengths, the longest being to Prescott, shortest being Canyon Lake, and then something in the middle. This would give people the ability to choose how long a drive they want, split up into groups and leave at whatever time is appropriate for everyone to be back at the dealer by 12/1.

I'd bet that people from around here would want a longer drive (as we're not making a big drive to get here), and people coming from 3 states over would be interested in sleeping in sat morning, lol

after the sat morning drive, we all meet up somewhere, and do the big caravan over to the dealership, so we all show up at the same time, we can also of course break up into our colors like at homecoming.

Agreed.

Also, I might suggest gauging interest in Sunday events. I think AZ people would probably want something Sunday but out of state people may want to bail out to get back to school, work, fam, etc. Depending on the amount of people wanting to do something sunday will help to decide what size of event you will need.

I will setup the website and can possibly manage the moneys, emails, and registration. Prolly around two weeks to get it going.

As far as evening activities, it will be difficult with that many people but I'll see what I can think of. I have a few ideas but everyone else please chime in if you have something in mind or what to help out.

I'd like to ask the previous organizers how many people usually show up for evening stuff.

Saturday night could be a party at F1 race factory, which has some nice indoor karting, entertainment & food. They offer group rates which include karting, helmet rentals, food, rock climbing, and billiards.

IIRC - With around 50 cars we would usually see about 30-40 people show up for Friday evening (Hooters, etc..) and 50+ people show for Saturday post meet events and dinner (F1 race Factory, etc..). I did not organize the events, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Also not so sure why lifts are required - is this a car meet or a tech-day? Get through this with the dealership and then hit them up to sponsor a tech day. Invite the dealership to showcase a couple of other Honda cars, some S2000 accessories, special services the offer, etc... This is why they are doing it - promote, promote, promote.

f1 race factory is super expensive. just rediculous. i would say thumbs down on that. but we can if we get enough votes.

my wife and i are probably be the only 2 not drinking, so if we could go somewhere that even we could have fun, would be good. although, techinically we should have more than half not drinking (because they shouldn't if they are driving).

Agreed 100%. No matter what mods they have, I don't really care to see the bottom of their car.

Hooters is always a fine choice.

Whats the point of drinking if you are not going to street race after?
