Per Cesar's post, Earnhardt is no longer a sponsor.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=551501

"Good morning all.
I just needed to tell everyone that Earnhardt Honda will no longer be a sponsor for the S2k club.
With the removal of the sponsorship will also be the removal of all discounts, etc.
We will still service the S2k's; just not as a sponsor.
I will no longer be the disignated Arizona S2k tech.

-Cesar"

I really hope this doesn't mean Cesar is no longer going to work at Earnhardt.

This is likely your "old skool" guys hard at work again, but dont quote me on that.

From what I can see Cesar will still be doing any work s2k owners need, just no discounts

Im not calling anyone out on anything. I dont even know the guys...But lets do the math here...

someone complains about the "area sightings" thread (which makes zero sense to me), one of em complains about whoever using pictures to previous events, then theres a post from Cesar saying no more Earnhardt sponsorship which is immediately locked... All of this happening in a 24 hr period. I most certainly could be wrong but im just putting 2 & 2 together.

From the way I read his post, he is still around and more than willing to work on any s2000, just dont expect to be getting any discounts from Earnhardt

I don't think anyone was complaining about the area sightings thread (at least not that I saw). Kirk was making a point about the post(s) from walkabt in the Fun in the Sun planning thread.

The old guys want us to not be associated with them. Thus they don't want us using their pictures (and it would appear Earnhardt as a sponsor) or even the name of their meet (I thought it was annual). For old guys, they seem to be acting pretty damn childish - but maybe that's just me.
