Default FS: Whining AP1 diff

This diff will need a rebuild since it started making a whining sound. Make me an offer.I'm located in Gilbert, message me if you have any questions. I drained the diff today and did not find any chunks, oil was fairly clean. I took it apart today to see if there were any damage. You decide on the pictures. I didn't see any cracks, chips or damage. I was expecting something due to the whine, but maybe all it needs is an adjustment? I have no idea. What is weird is I'm getting some clunking noises from the rear now when I go over bumps on my new diff. Maybe it was my axle?

to be honest i would probably break it on the dyno doing the initial tune so its probably counter productive for me to use an oem diff

As long as you don't shock the drivetrain system with hard launching, you should be fine. But it's an obvious liability. I been running 500 hp on the street for the last 20k miles on the oem diff. if you change your mind, hit me up. I'm not asking a lot for it. Honestly just looking for $100.

I know Puddydad takes diffs as a core return and pays $400 for a good diff and $200 for a blown one. Maybe he'll buy yours?
