Hey guys,

Walkabt and I have been brainstorming ideas for a drive. Here's what we've come up with:

Meet this Saturday, April 27th (note changed time from Sunday to Saturday!!!) at the Starbucks on the SE corner of Stapley and the 60 - 9:30am. On the road by 10am.

We'll head out the 60 to Globe, have lunch (if we're ready for it) and then pick up the 88 north toward Roosevelt lake. We can screw around at the lake, take a tour of the dam, visit Tonto National Monument, or whatever we feel like. Then 188 north to the junction of 87 and back down to Phx.

Post here if you're in! Walkabt will be posting a map.

Hope to see you there!

PS - Sonshine, we thought about the caverns but didn't think we could get reservations this late. Maybe you'll just have to go again with us!

Although the dam planning was challenging, we felt the dam drive would provide a much needed boost. We think you'll like this dam drive. It's about time for this dam drive to happen.

Here is a map, better stuff to follow.

Sorry, won't be able to make this one. I have prior commitments (Baseball game). I also can't make the Mt Lemmon drive, because I'll be in Colorado. Have fun and watch out for those rock chips.

I'll be there. I can't wait to meet the dam tourguide. I have a lot of dam questions that I want to ask about that damn dam.

Is this the same Starbucks that we always meet at? Have you guys considered finding a meeting place with a slightly larger parking lot?

I agree... What is the dam problem with having the dam drive on Saturday. I would rather do this dam drive on Saturday as well, but since I don't have a dam wife, I don't have to worry about a dam anniversary.

Either way I will see you guys for the dam trip.

I picked Sunday because of the two people who voted for this weekend, both took Sunday and none took Saturday. I'm fine either day ... Walkabt??? How about you?
