I can only hope this event is better than the last one I went to. Nothing but a bunch of people coming into a turn too fast, pulling the e-brake, and spinning out. That was fun to watch for about 4 mins

look at the wheel base of a 350z.. the weight.. and power.. how the suspension design is.. you can't toss a mustang around like a 350z.. The mustang that is used in formula d and such are modify big time.. the s2000 is pretty much a well balance car along, electronic steering casuses problems, shallow steering angle and a really weak rear end.. its not really user friendly when it comes to drifting.. thats why not to many teams use the s2000.. the ones are competing are modify to shit.. the RSR S2000 doesn't even use a honda steering rack.. just saying for a stock car to go out and drift the best suited car would be a 350z..

I wouldn't expect some1 like boofster to know this type of stuff or believe it though.. unless earnheart honda or ceaser tells him then its all gravy..

take it how you want it.. its a small lot.. with not as much track time for learning.. 2 decent drivers who done many events wreck their car on that lot due to rookie mistakes.. there will be k-rails there.. all i can say is if you do a event never lift off the gas pedal when you feel the back end come out..

LOL I think my smiley has misled many. Maybe I didn't use the correct one. What I meant to say is it is a very good and tempting idea to rent a 350z as it is just right for it like you said. I may do it. Anyone want to split the bill? Wouldn't the rental be auto and have TCS locked anyway?

Roger, thanks for the explanation. My wanting to get into drift is not only because it's probably the most fun but to learn how it feels to counter and control the drift in case I get in such a situation at the track with my S. By no means I want to destroy my diff (which is why I haven't visited the local empty parking lot).
