Talking Door Panel Lights?

So, I'm working nights now...
I got in the S last night to drive home and I can't see the door panel controls for the mirror, lock, and windows. Not a big deal because I just did the feel thing, but shouldn't those controls have backlighting?
Anyone?

So I used to have a problem w/ new passengers not being able to find the interior door handle at night so I installed a little flush mounted LED into the surround of the door handle. You cant see the LED but it emits enough light to illuminate the door handle so people can find it.

It is amusing watching people fumble around at night trying to figure out how to get out of the car. I normally just reach over and open the door for them. Get an astounding "ahhhhhhh so thats where it is" everytime a new person is in the car.

Another thing people get a kick out of is the gas latch pull being in the door sill.

... or first move. No need for date rape when you are as sexy as I am.

What he meant to say is:

Only works for date rape if you can get her into the car...

Well...
I wonder how difficult it would be to make an aftermarket lighted door panel. Probably not difficult at all.
So, get back lighting on the door panel controls and put a LED like light in the door latch well so it can be seen when the ignition is first turned off, say for 30 seconds then dims.
