Sucks dude. Too many damned trucks and these roads blow chunks!
Glad nobody was hurt.
I'm tempted to ask my place of employment to install a helicopter landing pad on the roof or maybe a 5k foot runway out back so I can fly over these crappy roads and traffic.

Hope your car is put back together nicely.

Yeah, it sucks, but we are both blessed to be totally unharmed and didn't endanger anyone else. Two months and $16000 later I will have my baby back like new and will be a little more defensive on the road.

BTW, it was a two lane that opened up into three lanes (one for passing in our direction). I wasn't passing on the shoulder, I'm not THAT stupid.

Sorry for being one of those people that contribute to the S2000's ridiculous insurance rates. Feel free to spank me...hard. I've been a bad boy.

if you are goigng replace the bumpers or what not... now would be a good time to go aftermarket if you were looking. or if you need a radiator.. koyo makes a good one... its little things here and there that you have to replace, but replace them with things you actually want....

sucky but lucky at the same time.
you guys had a little scare.
good on the rebuild

Sorry to hear! Glad both of you are ok.

Must have been the same garbage truck that I came across today. The guy couldn't stay in his lane if his life depended on it.

Was the pavement wet when this happened?

You've got my sympathy. Really sorry to read about this... From the looks of the divit in the wall you were no doubt airborne. Thank God for air bags! I hope they get you back on the road soon.

Thanks for the nice words. We are leasing the car so it's going to be back to stock. I was going to buy it after the lease, but not so much anymore. I will have to buy an 08, assuming they still make them.

Go see Jim at Autobodyworld over not far from Earnhatdt's. He's had months of recent experience with S2000's.

Make sure they match the color well, the yellows are the hardest to get right with the metallic flake in it. It really looks different in different types of light, and you can see subtle differences very easily.
