Took the 240 out to its first drift event tonight.. No clutch kicks, no e brake yanking.. Just good ol' power Twas a lot of fun but the car definitely needs to be tuned. We pulled the spark plugs and noticed a bit of metallic shavings on the spark plugs.

Metallic shavings on plugs are not good. Hopefully they are just remnants of a cross-threaded plug. The other scenarios are poor oil circulation in your head and you are seeing valve guide shavings or cylinder wall/Piston remnants. Maybe turbo pieces? Have you checked if the shavings are magnetic? It might be time for a leak-down test/compression test.

Hopefully its just a cross-threaded plug.....

It didn't look bad or anything, just something to be concerned with in the future. I do need to make sure the tune is good for the car before I push it more.

Duraluminum grill for you mouth! That way you can be like Jaws in the bond movies and bite through anything!

On a different note I think this week may be the longest week ever. Wedding and 2 weeks in New York cannot get here fast enough.

Ivan I really have no idea what that part is. Only thing coming to mind is some part of an axle cup or something in the drive line that was lightened.
