From what I understand it sounds very similar to the normal Amuse Duals. (I love the way the Amuse duals sound) They used to be the end all be all exhausts back in the day and I still have a soft spot in my heart for them. That being said there are a few of the pictures that really solidifies the the idea (in my mind at least) that I need to stick with something that looks OEM'ish.

The OEM exhaust tips match perfectly with the Chrome rings in the 02-03 tail lights, which blend into the JDM side markers, which match the JDM Chrome headlights and the Chrome diffusers on those go with the exhaust tips, wheel lips, and chrome rings in the tail lights. I like the "less is more" look and I'm not a huge fan of the big oddly shaped mufflers off of the back of the car. I believe that when building a car the end result needs to be greater than the sum of all the parts. Every single piece on the car needs to compliment each other piece, and they all should work together to accomplish a specific look or goal. It's very obvious when you see a car that was planned out. I'm not a huge fan of buying parts just to buy parts. I like the fact that people who really know their shit think I have a good looking car and yet I can take it to my Grandfathers house and he still thinks I have a good looking car.
This one exhaust in particular solves multiple problems for me. It's light weight (15-22lbs - full titanium construction), it's polished, it looks OEM, it sounds good without being obnoxious, and it's another piece that if someone knows what they are looking at it just has the "wow" factor. This piece simply works with everything else I currently have on the car in every possible way. Oh, the exhaust is also available in a 60mm and a 70mm option now, so depending on what path I want to take I can select the correct sized option.
The reason I'm so excited about finding that one used is I never knew one of these with that tip option had been imported. If I can get my hands on it for half the price it's a no-brainer as far as I am concerned. That being said, $3,000 is a lot of money. It's a crazy amount of money for something that hangs 3 inches off the ground. It's also a crazy amount of money for an exhaust that I've never head in person. (never heard a Euro version) That's why I really am trying to track whoever bought it down. Well see what happens. I don't have to high of hopes right now.

I am thinking of doing a HWY 88 run saturday morning. Probably mid morning. I know it will be crowded, but I need a little top down twisty road cruise. I will probably post up first thing saturday morning if I am going, so feel free to hit me up.

@ Alex.
Same face as those HRE's and the same design for the center cap. I told you RS's were basically the same. These ones are to aggressive for you I think though, but you might be able to find a set with different sizing.

Have you checked RB wheels, or VR wheels, or whatever they are called these days? That might be a good place to start if you're considering a set of these.
Also, there are several sets of CCW's with tires for sale right now on these forums. They are kind of the style your looking for in the LM20 or the Classic option. Check those out.
PS: Elliot and Madhav, it was sold to someone who wasn't on these forums and the original owner no longer has any of the contact information. I guess it's time to start regionally bombing craigslists.

That LM set up looks a lot better than I thought it would. I like that.
Couple things to note Alex. The set you have are 17's, you can pull those off when your car is pretty low. To get the look you want you might want to see if you can find a set of 18's or something. We should slap your faces back on and test fit your set to make sure you're happy with them before you dump money into refinishing them.
The moron on the CL add didn't put any contact information in it.
