Z1000. Cheaper maint and parts. It has great power and decent reviews.
They all look ugly to me though.
I really liked the 03-05 z1000, the sv1000n/s, duc monsters,06+ fz1 and 919.
I really haven't seen a naked/hooligan bike that I have liked in the past few years.
I also haven't even seen a liter sportsbike that looked halfway decent lately either except for the 1098/1198 and the newest cbr1000rr

Pretty cool video of an HRE wheel being made.

Watched this at home last night. Such a cool video and it make it look so simple.

I'm probably not suppose to post this, but I thought I'd pass along the savings.
If you have a 06+ S2k or any other car that works with Flashpro and you want a Flashpro there is a Group buy from Gopower motorsports going on.
go to the link bellow and or email this guy cj@go-pwr.com: I'm not affiliated in any way with Gopower, just a customer ordering a FP during the GB.

The price is 600$ right now. It will go down a little (? not sure how much) more if we get 4 more people. He says he's going to order all of them on the 22nd of Feb. so if you get your money to him by then, you'll be in the group buy.

Well my valve cover plans are shot. I guess plating it would not be a good idea because it can leave metal shavings inside the valve cover no matter how much they try and clean it. Sigh. Now what the hell am I going to do with it.

Copper would have been better.

Eww really? Sorry but that sounds freaking ugly. I would think with your whole red/black theme, red or black would fit. Copper will just stick out and look like butt. Nothing clean about it.

If you are dead set on copper, you can have it powder coated in "copper vein".

Not even close to the same. Plus there will be other things to match it to. I am still investigating some options. It just seems it get more and more expensive.
