in the near future you will be able to buy a civic that is nearly 1 second quicker in the 1/4 mile than your remotely stock S2000

I worry that this Type R has too much tech in it.

I'm not worried about it coming to the states, we never get Type Rs.

Lets put the heaviest inline 6 known to man in the back of a VW bug!!!
okay

better off with a 3sGTE or beams motor. Beams swap would be cool IMO.

I live within a short drive to that highway. I attempted to drive it earlier this year with Sean. It's too dangerous now for any kind of spirited driving. The road is in need of repair as there too many sections with pitted sections and gravel. I would not recommend that road to anyone.

been up that road twice and the last time I got a speeding ticket from a Truck Sherrif. your best bet is to run into a large crowd of cars and just putz along and enjoy the views.

Come out to SCCA Autocross if you want twisties and tire shredding fun!!

That section of road beyond tortilla flat should have been left unpaved. its just too dangerous to assume its safety because of the pavement. especially at night. After all these years, theres still no guard rails in many areas where there should be.
News piece said that the crash was near fish creek. not sure how anyone could survive that drop, much less hike all the way back afterwards. I've taken out of town guests, park, swim, picnic, party with big chested lady friends (hippie style ), enjoy hiking to the big cave. http://youtu.be/SO1kW7JCGl0 (note the citizens comments to someone taking up space on the small, primitive road at :30!) this is *not a place for S2000's*. what the guys saw who were building Roosevelt Dam. Free sightseeing is unbelievable. Apache Lake is further up the road, and somewhat remote.
