no idea what tires either of the cars were using actually. That S3 looked to be on R-comps though so if the S2K beat him, I'd say the S2k was at least running NT01s or the Toyo RA1/RRR setup.


They totally got the hp numbers wrong for the imports.

Yeah, I saw that. There was a guy who was on the show in the earlier season(s) and claimed that they made him swap to crappier tires to run is what I'm referencing. They might not do that anymore.

well. I was wrong. I had to go back and see

at 4:16 it shows some heavy rubber clag on the side of the tires of the S3 which first made me think R-comps but video clarity sucks. whatever it is, it looks like he destroyed the outer edge of tread. easy to overdrive AWD cars that act like FWD.. .
for a split second at 4:56 and 5:00 I see tread on them though that doesn't look like a RA1 or Kuhmo V700 or pilot sport cup. might be a shitty street tire like a RE050 or Continental ExtCont DW or BFG G-force Comp2

5:16 the S2000 looks like it has Dunlop ZIIs actually.

8:48 looks like the Camaro is running street tires as well. probably the BFG comp2

I would not go on that show with my track car that is setup to run R-comps and switch to street tires.

I hope the competitors at least get a free set of tires from BFG. to sell them.. .

just like most of us, I find it very entertaining to watch. The comments from the show makes me laugh out loud. The specs are all garbage too. Theres a couple episodes with S2ks but this one was well worth sharing. I wouldn't run my car in that show even tho I don't race haha
