I wonder why he is parting it out, I thought he just recently picked up a 335 to daily drive while he built the S.

What do you guys think about these tail lights? I can't quite decide if I like them or not, but in any case, I think they look better than the stuff eBay or Eurobotique is putting out, and they're a lot less expensive than the Mayday Garage LED's.

I would absolutely love to add this to my garage in the future. It's perfect in every way that I love my CR. I love the color, the shape, and the sound. Amazing!

+1. I really like the styling of the new Boxster/Cayman.

You and me both. It's been a longtime since I really liked a high performance car that could be in reach of owning someday for S owners. It's the only true GTS Porsche as well since it has the same mid engine rear wheel drive platform of the 904 back in the day. They only made 100 of those with the GTS designee.

Since you asked, I think that looks like a gigantic waste of money. Those taillights look interesting but they don't flow with a single thing on the car, and they most certainly won't match whatever headlights you're running. Your money would be much better spent elsewhere.

I respect your opinion on stylistic choices, especially since you own the cleanest AP1 I've ever seen. I will say, though, that I think it's a nice option for people who want to get away from the dated look of AP1 tail lights, and don't want to hack up their cars for AP2's. I think they'd look good on an aggressively styled car. But hey, to each their own. If I were going to change tail lights I'd rather pay the ~$500 for these that are plug and play, versus $3-500 for AP2 tails that still require body mods to fit, $5-600 for Eurobotiques lights that look like they stepped out of 2003, or the Mayday Garage lights which are $1,000 up.
