Just when you think your car is fast on the streets and then back to reality (compliments of Nick's turbo).

How is it cool now to run wide fenders and not widen the front bumper? Am I the only person that is bothered by this crap? It looks like you just started cutting corners to put more parts on the car.

I just went and read the article. That car is all over the place. I don't know, it's all quality parts which I'm super down with, it just feels like the car is trying to go in to many directions at the same time.

Its a really sweet video, but yea some of the car isnt for me. That style of mismatched bumper and fenders is something that has been going on for a long time in Japan with track cars...and now people over here are starting to do it. I have lots of track s2000 pics from Japan and they all have mismatched bumpers and fenders. So for a track car in some cases I can understand why the need for wide fenders, and not everyone wants to then spend money on a bumper to match. Its just a functional setup at that point...but the car in the video is just a looker (although I do recall seeing it on track a few times).

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's an odd mix of track parts and 'show' parts. I do like the car, I just wish certain parts of it had been better executed.

I didn't see a video. All that stuff is blocked here at work so it doesn't show up for me, there is just this big block of white space. I'll check it out when I get home.

Agreed. Yea check out the video, that is really what I was posting about. IMO its very nicely done and a great s2000 video. Good blend of stills and driving. Wish I could get a video like that made of my car.
