Border to Border run completed last night we covered 1582 miles in 23 hours and 38 minutes. Accompanied by a BMW K1600GT, an incredible experience... and combination of good planning/teamwork/and mindset! Best defined and described as a massive 'Bucket List' checkmark!
Nogales, AZ -> Sweetgrass, MT
I will be working on the time lapse video once I am home but here is one of the shots we captured crossing Montana.
The SPOT Tracker link is still active and will be for the rest of the trip - tomorrow we are headed to Glacier National Park!

That trip sounds awesome. You're fortunate to have this fantastic ride to enjoy this experience. When I see you next at the Atom, I definitely want a ride. I have never ridden in one.
Can't wait to see your vid and pics.

For example, if you are already in Silver City, may as well take HWY 180 north to Eagar, back south on HWY 191 to Safford. 191 is a blast!

Thanks for sharing Nik. I think you may have inspired me. I never thought to do a trip like this, and I think this sounds like a lot of fun. I def want to see Glacier as well. Can't wait to see and read your final trip write up
So was the goal to make the trip as quickly as you could, or were you guys just cruising?

That looks like an awesome trip!
Motivation for me to start planning the San Diego to Vancouver BC coastal trip I've been wanting to do for forever. How many days are you guys taking for the round-trip total?

Pictures have leaked of Honda testing their new NSX in Super GT500 trim for the 2014 season. For those that do not follow racing or Super GT, 2014 marks the first year of a global rule set between DTM and Super GT. Both series will be using the same spec chassis which in theory will make it easier for a manufacturer to build one car, and then have the option of racing in Europe and or Asia.
I dont know all of the rules, but currently all DTM cars share the chassis and major car components. Engines, and some of the suspension components are unique to each manufacturer. Aero packages are also unique to each manufacturer, but very limited by the rules.
I think this car look pretty cool, and gives us a glimpse of what the NSX will look like, but the car looks very much like a DTM car (sedan) as opposed to a mid engine sports car.
Evolution of the NSX...well and the HSV.
Here is a current spec DTM car. Notice the close resemblance. Mainly the rear wing, and side profile of the car.
