on the topic of wheels! I'm looking for some for my E36 M3/4/5 and I just stumbled upon these pictures of a 4dr, same color as mine with the wheel style I'm most interested in (CCW classics) but.. . not gonna lie, I'm going to likely go the cheap route and get reps. I can't afford nice rims when I change cars every two years and need an extra set for racing (likely getting Kosei K1 17x8.5s for racing)

What you think? These are 17s, I'm looking at XXR 531 in 18x8.5 +35 in the polished color

They are fine for a beater car. There are Dub Classico CCW reps that look a little better IMO but I think they are only 4x100. Stance also makes some SC-6ix wheels that look good but think smallest size is 19'' lol. Damn reps and having stupid sizes/offsets. I'd personally try to find a decent deal on some Style 5's instead

style 5s are typically found in +20 or +25 I think which would require an extensive fender roll front and rear. I'm not going full race with this thing yet and if I did, I still probably wouldn't buy style 5s over something in 17x9 +35

Visited SOS for some camber adjustment on my CR today. Wade did a great job. Looking forward to the track sessions this fall. With all the mods this year, the CR is looking and feeling like a true track car on the road.

Good deal! I'm stopping in at SoS on Wed before the meet as well. I know they do quality work, and back their stuff!

As Jay-Z said...
No chrome on the wheels, I'm a grown-up for real
