That's the SSC (IIRC) concept. It's supposed to be fully electric and is to be displayed at the Detroit Auto show. The one from the link isn't the NSX concept, but a car that's supposed to be a little bigger than the Honda Beat.

I like that race version and I think the black one pictured over in car talk looks way better. Still waiting on price and to see how the aftermarket gets along with the engine.

I'd bet you would sell a bunch of those.

I can't see the article. I would not be surprised if the S is the most raced car if you are talking about the % of the production run that are raced.

What would you legitimately pay for a nice setup. I mean nice as, very professional looking, color matched, and literally drops into place? I just need to figure out how affordably I can construct them. The steel baffle sheet is over $100 alone but makes a few of them.

I'm not the person to ask as I don't think I'd be the target market. Don't get me wrong, the quality, fit and finish of your set up looks near OEM and I personally think it looks fantastic, but if I ever do anything to the stereo in the car I would prefer to do something small enough so it can all be completely hidden. I've also never spent a single dollar on upgrading a stereo in a car so I have no idea what something like this would go for.

I can see something like this being pretty popular though. As I mentioned your materials and quality look and fit like OEM. You can do whatever color accent leathers people want, and I'm guessing you can build it to specific setups. Is $250 unreasonable for something like that? How many man hours go into a single unit from start to finish?

So it's just the box? I would think it would easily be $200 or more. What does jl charge for their box that's not as nice or custom wrapped? You could offer a few options. Like a unfinished one and a complete one etc. good sub boxes aren't cheap more are making them yourself.
