I've always thought a better comparison would be FRS vs Integra GS-R. The BRZ MSRP ~(25,500) is a lot cheaper than the s2000 and adjusted for inflation probably the same or a tad cheaper than the GS-R as well. And in that sense I think the BRZ is not bad at all.

Um, GRS's aren't RWD.

Nobodies adjusting purchase price for anything. What RWD sports car can $20,000 of your hard earned dollars buy you right now?

Super on Flickr, just checked old photos I had uploaded on the old "free" account, and it in fact kept the full-resolution images. So now there's the 49/yr ad-free version, or the 499/yr for ad-free and 2TB of space.

So if one were to run adblock plus, it makes the ad-free version moot. All other features are the same.

Seems like Y! is really making a push to stick it to G+.

watching X-games Skate Park. nothing like watching pros crack their heads open b/c they don't have a helmet on. you'd think that ummm pro dollars = something you want to keep doing instead of ending your career short with one fall without a helmet.. .

Good point on the RWD I was thinking more on closer to power and price.

No doubt No such thing as a 20k sports car. Closest thing is probably the V6 mustangs but those aren't sports cars I know

Eddie Harris: You know you might think about taking Jesus Christ (S2000) as your savior instead of fooling around with all this stuff (BRZ/FRS).

Jake: Okay Harris, lets not start a holy war here! "" Major League

Yeah, but I don't think a V6 Mustang really falls into the sports car category. It seems like the S2000, RX8, and FR-S/BR-Z are the three cars that people cross shop when there are looking for a RWD sports car, and that's why there is so much comparison between them.

I went and test drove a FR-S. It was a cool little car, it just needs more power. If they ever do a turbo option it's going to be awesome. Also, I went and looked at the BR-Z directly after driving the FR-S. I'd spend the extra money on the BR-Z due to the interior improvements alone.

That being said, the FR-S/BR-Z is going to need more power before I considering buying one of them over a used S2000.

The crazy thing is that BRZs are touching 30k MSRP, which is pretty close to the price of a 370Z and a V8 Mustang. You would think people would pay the extra few grand and just get a car that packs a more substantial performance punch but everyone wants the new girl I suppose.

A Genesis Coupe? Starts cheaper than both the BRZ and FR-S, comes with a lot more power/torque, and pretty much all the features of the aforementioned. Probably doesn't handle as well, but it's probably close.

One ticket left for the Friday Dbacks game, free!

This is my last post on the game, now back to the RWD-FRS-BRZ-discussion. Here is my contribution, the Mazda Suitcase Car. Open wheel, "convertible," could be considered sporty, but never was produced.
