Clutch Master Cylinder Advice
So I took a look at my fluid levels and noticed that the clutch reservoir was at the minimum level. I inspected the reservoir and area around and found no leakage. However, when I looked under the dash behind the clutch petal I noticed a lot of debris / contamination. I cleaned the area and waited a few days only to notice that brake fluid was present. Not leaking excessively but it is collecting there.
I suspect my clutch master cylinder is shot, but:
1. Anybody think it could be something else? (hoping here in an effort to save dollars, but fairly confident of the diagnosis)
2. Is this something I could replace on my own or should I take this to a pro?
3. Anyone have any experience with Honda / SOS / Other service provider they would recommend over another for this type of work? (I'm trying to avoid that feeling "screwed" after paying the bill)
Thanks in advance for any advice...
