Default Check Engine Light Goes Away
I had a check engine light last week and SoS identified it as a misfire. I'm scheduled to go in Tuesday and get my injectors cleaned. Today I get in the car and the check engine light is not on anymore. I thought these had to be manually reset and didn't just go away? Anyone?

IIRC, it should still be stored in the ECU even if the CEL turns off.

CELs turn off automatically after a certain number of drive cycles if the problem doesn't happen again.
