This past weekend we had another successful group outing. To continue with my goal for the year of having an event every month its time to put something together for April.

My thoughts are that since the weather is still tolerable and not super hot, we should do a drive that is closer to the valley, and save the northern (cooler weather) trips for once it gets hotter.

I propose that we use Redchili (Roger's itinerary) for the Arizona 177 drive. I am open to suggestions if anyone knows of a place we can stop for lunch. Otherwise that research still needs to be worked on.

Roger, do you know of any lunch spots on this drive?

 

At the start in Superior or at the end in Oracle. Better to eat in Oracle. Superior would be too early. Lots of photo opportunities along the way.

Lupe's is good, but they keep odd hours. I have a call into a local mine that I buy from, they will surely have a suggestion.
