Default Any mountain or hills around to run?

My cousin lives in California and has local access to roughly 3 or 4 mountains that he continuously talks about whenever we get on the phone. He usually goes with a prelude or subaru or a pretty nice supra (Mark IV); and says he really wants to run me when I go visit, and I was wondering if we have any mountains that are local (15-30 mins away) aroud the North Phoenix/Glendale/Peoria area? I also figured it would be kinda sweet if we did a Monday night meet at a mountain run. Any thoughts or ideas from you all?

Only good drives near that area are Bumble Bee that Roger mentioned, but if you go a little farther east you can take the Bartlett Lake road which is pretty nice, and even better (but much shorter) is the Seven Springs road which is just north of the Bartlett rd.

where's Bumble bee - is that just the section of I-17 up & down?

Not much in your area - Bartlett and South Mountain are prob your best bets

If you follow the route, you will see the turnoff for Bartlett lake before you get to the start of the Seven Springs road

Route from 43rd ave and bell to Seven Springs
