Any Long Drives?

Anybody do a real long drive? I'm considering a roadster trip to California with the intention of driving along the Pacific Coast and eventually making my way to the wine country for beverages and cheese. I'll be taking my wife.
It should take obout 6 hours to get to LA, right?
Any tips on comfort?
Anyone do the PCH in the S2000? ... from Phoenix?
