It's too warm for skiing at this point, so no need to worry about that. You can visit Sedona, go to Slide Rock. There's plenty of hiking in the area, but keep in mind that any strenuous activity is going to feel tougher than normal because of the altitude. Flagstaff is about 7,200 feet, some of the surrounding areas can get higher. Kachina Trail and Mt Humphrey's are two of the more interesting hikes in the area, but they're pretty high. Kachina ranges from 8,800-9,500ft and Humphrey's gets all the way up to about 13,000 ft. You could always grab some road bikes and go ride out along Lake Mary. It's a very scenic ride or drive and should be pretty nice this time of year.

cool. Thanks for the ideas. I've actually never been to Flagstaff. You're right. My lazy, out of shape arse will probably have some issues on a tough mtn bike ride. Maybe Sedona is a better idea. Gotta do something active though and get out and about. No camping gear so biking and hiking is pretty much the activities to choose unless someone wants to take me fishing!?
