2013 Track Days
#101
I'm thinking about doing the Bondurant West (formerly known as Firebird West) session on April 20th. Its on their spring schedule. Anyone game? After watching these videos, I've gotta get on this course.

Yes, although I dont know what that difference is. It was my first time on West so I never got to a consistent pace like I did at East. At east I was able to run 5-6 laps all within a few tenths of each other, at west I was not that consistent. I ran my fastest two laps in the second session of the day when it was colder out and I was still learning, but the track got slower as the day progressed...which I found odd. Or, I just started trying to hard and in turn went slower. Passengers hurt the most under braking and acceleration.

NASA-AZ will be at Firebird West on April 13-14th.
AZ-S2K, there's a track in Kingman where you can buy land (to build a cabin or something) and race whenever you please. However, it does cost 100k though

Just saw this thread and I remember last time something like this happened I changed my brake lines to SS. I will now also order some new SS lines for the fall track days. It was my original plan to run one year with my stock lines then replace, but I will probably do it sooner than later now. I think its a combination of high heat, and also when you swap rotors and pads if you drop the caliper or put the brake line in tension it can weaken the brake line at the crimp point. Make sure you guys always fully support the caliper/line and never let it hang or get stretched!
